Igor Bošnjak (b. 1981 in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia) lives and works in Trebinje (Bosnia & Herzegovina) as an visual artist and filmmaker.
He works on interdisciplinary research, addressing history, migrations and image-time relations as key reference in the experience of contemporary society.
He is mainly working within the media fields of contemporary art: moving images, video, film, 3d animation, installation and photography.
In 2005 he finished Academy of Visual Arts (BA) in Trebinje, Department of Painting. From 2007 to 2008 he finished (MA) Interdisciplinary studies,
Theory of Art & Media Department at the University of Arts in Belgrade, Serbia. From 2006 to 2016 he was founder and curator of namaTRE.ba project biennial.
From 2009 works as a professor at Academy of Visual Arts in Trebinje, University of East Sarajevo on courses of Video, Intermedia art, Digital art.
From 2019 to 2020 he was working as visiting lecturer on Faculty of Fine Arts Cetinje, University of Montenegro.
